I suggest Sandisk since they are a dedicated storage solution manufacturer, and I find their quality and reliability much more desirable than Sony even though Sony's branding tends to get more trust from the masses. As for the normal 8gb Sandisk or 8gb Sandisk Ultra II, AFAIK, the latter transfers data faster depending on a multitude of factors such as using a memorycard reader or phone processor speed. Perhaps it's also even more reliable. But I'd be very careful if I'm gonna buy a product that's still not listed in it's manufacturer's website, there are a lot of fake memory cards out there. ATM, I can't find any 8gb memorysticks on the Sandisk website
