I known lots of people that have had religion pushed on them as children and as such have rebelled and are no longer religious.

Religion, true or false, what ever you believe in. Religion keeps the world stable. If there was none, we would of perished in world wars ages ago. As einstein once said " I dont know what weapons will be fought in ww3 but ww4 will be fought with sticks and stones." Religion has kept us stable, and even if it isnt true, (as a christian I obviously find this not the case) maybe this stable balance and faith is the real religion. Dont mean to sound like a Buddhist but in a strange way it makes sence

ermmm... i won't get into the religion war as i do think it's all propaganda but that is just my opinion.
