W960 has 8GB of storage because its a music phone, N95 is not a music phone.

Geez people, its all down 2 personal taste ane experience, either u like something or u dont...no need 2 push ur opinion on some-one else coz u want 2 be right...every phone is aimed at different target groups that is mentioned in this thread so there aint a need 2 compare them

@rokec: as far as i know N95 does support 4gb, and will support even more when it comes, no doubt about it. So how could i have a 4gb on my P990 if only W850 and W880 support more than 2gb?

Hi all,
Right i am really getting very fed up of these continued posts comparing product a with b especially when most that are commenting have used only one or neither of them and are just happy to spout what they would like to believe for no other reason than it's not from SE it's not big it's not clever and it just makes you look silly.
According to most people here the N93 was rubbish when in reality it may not of been perfect but was pretty dam close bar low level light pictures and you know what i don't skulk around in the dark so it's really no big deal.
If i believed half the things that some of you are happy to spout about the N95 i wouldn't of bought one of these either, well sorry to disappoint you but it really is an excellent device. The slider is perfect no wobble what so ever and the same goes for the screen to and the casing no gaps or creaks and it most defiantly does not feel cheap and nasty ask Masseur as i am pretty sure he will agree.
It is a Multimedia smart phone and there is no way i would try and use this as my main business smart phone but only because of the Keypad IMO is not ideal for large amounts of data entry. I have had no out of memory errors crashes or freezes but then i know my way around S60 3rd Edition and the limitations of Symbian 9.1 and by using Handy Taskman experience no problems you may not like it but it is the truth.
To those of you that think the Music Player is rubbish you really haven't got a clue it is so much better than any Walkman player it's just funny. It does not suffer from low volume issues and with properly encoded Music the results are stunning using my Shure Ec2g headphones that just plug straight in and allow you to answer and make calls using the headphones for listening and the phones mike for speaking so no unplugging needed. To add album art all you need to is find the Album art and then add to your picture gallery, then open up the Music player select the Album you want find the cover and click that is how simple it is and should be IMO. If you don't believe me ask Jah about the music players quality even useing the Nokia BH-500 bluetooth adapter he rates it as being better especially volume wise. He has owned a W950 before the N95 and he is a well respected Forum member with many SE top of the range devices and provides a completely unbiased opinion.
Video and Film playback again is stunning in landscape mode and all it takes to get into the mode is slide the Multimedia keys out again nice simple quick and efficient and due to the great processor and graphics chip produce excellent results on the vivid and bright screen. The same goes for Web browsing on it in Landscape also. As far as i am concerned the N95 is my N93 in a smaller package minus the 3x Optical zoom and there really is only one word to describe it is stunning.
I haven't tried the GPS yet and doubt i will as i prefer to use Tom Tom 6 and a stand alone GPS receiver as quite simply it is much better IMO. I have yet to really make use of the camera and video as I'm just not well enough to focus and it has been very overcast when i have been out also i am just a point and shoot type of photographer it's just just not one of the things i am into but here are a couple of pictures taken in the park it was overcast and Otis wasn't really in the mood for staying still as it was very humid these pictures were just quick snaps on auto settings.
Comparing it to devices that haven't even been released yet is also totally pointless as by the time they arrive the next generation of Nokia devices will be released or about to be.
Quite simply if you prefer SE great buy SE but please stop repeating all this rubbish about how bad a device is that you have never owned and most probably never even held. As you may well not even like it but it certainly is only marginally bigger than the K series and packs in so much more.

it's called marketing. if you have a 3.2mp camera and with the help of the software you make it a 5mp pictures( a pixelated 3.2mp picture) then you have a "brand new camera with astonishing resolution". the truth is, n95 has 5mp but the pictures are worse than k800's 3.2mp

One thing i particularly like about the music player on my n95 over other phones as a music player is that the headphones have every control on it so no need to fiddle around in my pocket to change a track etc in my pocket.even launching the music player is so easy by simply pressing play on the headphones while it's plugged in..and those complaining bout radio i have a complaint about w800 radio you cant change a station without unlocking your phone which is a long process compared to just pressing a button like the n95 and even other cheap nokias like 3200 etc can do!that just irritated me.

When will people get the idea that all the manufacturers are producing very good phones and that the latest devices often have software / hardware flaws, which are usually rectified at some point in the device's life time.
If you prefer a Nokia phone, buy Nokia, if you like SE buy that, but don't consider it an affront to your man / woman hood that someone likes another device. Like what you've got, accept that the next device by any manufacturer may have some interesting features that yours doesn't and live with it. Even one less feature on a phone that's thinner or has better battery can be good if that's what people want.
The trick is to respect and learn from other people's decisions and experiences. You may just find you were wrong all along and the other device is nice to use after all. Denying yourself choice because of wounded pride is not going to help anyone.
I only buy SE phones, because I like them and I have too many compatible bits and pieces. Going back to only having one charger would be a real drag. But Nokia doesn't get to the number one spot by doing anything other than building the phones that the mass market wants. It's taken Ericsson / Sony Ericsson close to a decade in the wilderness to regain the market position it had with phones like the PF768 and T28. I've bought every one of their flagship phones since this time, so I'm well placed to say this.
Really if you think that any of the manufacturers give a damn about the oppinions of phone obsessed nerds like us then think again. There are millions of buyers out there who have busier lives and use their phones to make calls, take pictures and listen to music, those are the people they are targeting, not a few hundred people ranting from their bedrooms.

@shali - What's that SD630

A Samsung

It takes sharp images as I sees it
@dogmann - Nice outdoor shots of OTIS . . . I may be wrong pal, but I guess those shots were taken without the SUN's FULL-shine

Or was it?
