Newly uploaded songs are automaticlly detected by Music Player, no need to Refresh Music Library.
not when on the memory card they dont
and also, if your in the multimedia menu go to options>menu sounds>on and you will get the menu sounds, they're pretty cool
Incorrect. When you go to the MM Menu, and then select Music Player, while it is opening (at least on mine) it refreshes the playlists. As a test, I added a few songs. When I went to play them, they were there. I got the "Opening" statement then my list of playlists.
The sounds were already there in the older software, as were the background images, and Image effects.

well how come mine doesnt refresh them for me :S
how did you transfer the files?
I plugged the phone into the PC with miniUSB cable, went to file manager in the PC suite, then i went to memory card>attachments and put my song in, closed the windows and disconnected the phone, then went multimedia menu>music player and it said opening then i went into all songs, it wasnt there, then playlists, and recently added and it wasnt there, i had to refresh manually, maybe i have to cnage the destination folder or use music manager?

i found a bug in latest firmware where the radio, audio only comes out of one ear and the other is very faint, however playing music via media player works fine. only way to resolve the issue is to turn phone on and off then the radio works fine again.

@A L 3 X,
I am on a Mac. I use the new software that Nokia developed to transfer files. It works great. It creates the directories and puts the files where they need to go. It will even include album art (I think). I am not sure how things work on a Windows PC though. Sorry dude.

@A L 3 X,
Nope. It is called Nokia Media Transfer. This is what makes Nokia better (in my opinion) than SE. Dedication to more than just one platform.

might be your product code, you could try changing it, as long as you make a note of your original one...
