Very valid points and it is not just the Sony name either it is also the use of Cybershot and Walkman branding. But unfortunately this is just marketing and the products do not deliver what their names suggest or imply. so what is carl zeiss, dvd like video and showing of bose headphones in the add, as if its for free. Arent these marketing gimmicks? And do they deliver what they say?
Carl Zeiss isnt marketing a gimmick, its the actual lens in there. What do you want? For them to put a CZ lens and then lie about it?
Bose headphones absolutely deliver! All N series have fantastic music quality, N91 has even better.

OK then so what is VGA 30fps @640x 480 then? besides being far ahead of anything that SE has to offer of course. Just look at this forum and you will see how many SE users really want improved video recording and moan about the lack of this feature by SE and that's from their fans.
I just wish some of you could at least understand that the sound quality from these N series device is as good as it is what ever you want to believe the truth is different. The same goes for the 5 mega pixel camera it may not be the best Camera in the world but it is one of the best in a phone. But please stop going back to old reviews of it and realise that is has been improved and most probably will continue to be improved further.
If you don't like the N95 don't buy it but stop trying to find faults with a best selling device that the vast majority of it's users are happy with and yes some aren't and some device's aren't perfect either but that's life it is also far from being perfect.
Sorry again but i don't know were you are getting your information from but to claim outstanding sound from all the Walkman phones just isn't even supported by owners of these phones never mind when you actually compare them to other products and again is just wishful thinking.

Why CZ isnt a gimmick because its merely the name of the lens. You cant put down a company for simply stating the name of the lens used.

who are you to tell which products are bad and which arent? who are you to say that n-series products cant be reached at all? who are you to decide that n-series are superior in music? you just think that when you say something its right, am i right or what?
who said that i dont like n95? if you want to know i have actually bought it today. And i have never said it is bad, it have some lacks, which all phones of course have

Why did SE put W sticker when its actually not a W phone and merely a K phone with different casing?
