its a great phone i know, But do not deserve the walkman name, when i go to the gym i want loud music and i don't get it with this phone.
Can anybody tell me if is any change in the volume departament?

Im want to find out if the volume in the headphones went up or not,I had a fake dhp-90 bluetooth headphones and it was loud enough but the thing keep frezzing about every 10 minutes so I sold them,now I have a motorola S9 and they are great but the volume in the phone is not enough,I pair the headphones with my laptop and is really freaking loud,so i know is the phone.
Im selling my phone for 250 US and I haven't have a call yet.
If you SE fan you know you dont want this phone for music.

well it is louder..hard to say exactly how much.
headphones volume is the real issue...and it is still there.. the only solution is get used to it or sell the phone..

I just updated my W950i yesterday. I have a Generic World 3 & its updated now to:
Organizer: R6E28
BT: R3A01
Phone: R9GA001
so far i haven't noticed any changes. The sound is still as before. but i can say that its stable & i didn't faced any issues even with the previous FW.
well...for me its the best mobile i bought till now. its great as a Walkman & as a mobile phone. i have W850i as well. but its Walkman can't reach the performance of the W950i.
This is a Mobile phone + Walkman. don't expect it will do the same as iPod or the original Walkman.

I've updated the new firmware, it is very stable from the way the menu browse. Browsing greatly improved, video playing also fast, played game (Nightclub Empire) on the phone also not hang like last time, loading of java speed improved. Definitely worth the upgrade!! I haven't tried the earphone yet. And yes, speaker has gone louder. Alarm has gone back to original loudness too ^^.

Only 1 gripe. When phone memory has nearly been used up, the video will revert to the same old version: Black screen with sound... Just hope SE will fix that up soon..

dont hope too much in a new fw..this is one is most probably the last one we will see..
