I am unsure of the firmware of the top of my head, but I think it's the same as Reo's.
This is the longest I have kept a phone for a while. Had my W810i on 22nd August last year.
Before that I had a W800i, (hated it, looked cheap and nasty), an N70, that was even worse. Then I got a K750i which I loved as well. Before changing to my W810i.

@abbafan1972, I'm actually using the K750 now and I love it to bits. But I'm also thinking of getting a new phone and nothing in the market right now attracts me much. Strangely, the W810, which isn't exactly a new phone, is the one I'm setting my sights on. One of the reasons I wanna get a new phone is due to the K750's joystick acting up. So the W810 seems like the perfect replacement, pity it doesn't have A2DP. Have you encountered any problems or bugs with your W810 at all?

Ok, just when I've decided to get the W810, my service provider has stopped offering it on contract. I'm really disappointed as there's no other phone right now that interests me. The only other option that i will consider is the K610, but it seems to pale in comparison to the W810. No auto-focus and no flash themes if I'm not wrong. But it does have 3G (which isn't all that important to me) and A2DP (which is a nice feature to have). Should I settle for the K610? How different is it from the W810 in terms of functionality?

Hi there.
Hubby had a K610i and I really liked it, the screen is nice and clear and even the messages text is nice and large. It has a similar keypad style as the K750i, but without the joystick. And you were right about the camera, it's not very good on the K610i at all. The W810i camera is much better. Also the W810i supports the same memory card as K750i, so if you have already purchased a large capacity card, then you will be able to carry on using it. I like my W810i, it's the longest I have kept a phone for a while and the walkman player is great.
I would personally go for the W810i if you can. It's awkward though if your network provider has stopped doing it.

The navigation pad is great and mine hasn't faded one bit in the 12 months I have owned the phone.

@abbafan1972, thanks for the advice, I'm leaning towards getting the W810 too, and like I said, I had actually made up my mind to get it, but I found out that my service provider has stopped offering it. Sigh... I don't wish to settle for anything less, so I think I'll give the K610 a miss!
