hmm for my case is yes.
i first extract the whole folder (sunfire) to the acoustic folder,
followed by extraction of megabass folder in it and overwrite 4 files.
after that. then i start the FSX.
the result is satisfactory for me, but the headset volume is less compared to sunfire alone. however, the overall quality (headset)is much better than sunfire alone as the treble is not so "bright".
tere's some having K790 and Megabass V4 acoustic, but personally i've not tried both of them yet. when i got the time, i'll try the K790 and all the acoustic available to find which is the best.

for me:
headset = sunfire+megabass > sunfire (but not loud)
loudspeaker = sunfire > sunfire+megabass (but the difference are slight)

I understand the K series will not be as loud as W series but the treble levels should be lower. But the K750's I have heard that are modded are extremely loud and clear. Treble is at perfect levels. Will mongoose mod a n amazing acoustics driver for the K800?
I don't think I can come up with anything that beats so dubbed K790 driver. Note - these drivers are not orig K790 files. All I know is I have been using them for a while now and I am more than happy with them - The volume is great - they could almost make your ears bleed. The only critism I have is that every driver I have tried for the K800 has the same "hissing" that used to bug me with the W800. But compared to the original K800 drivers the K790 drivers are miles ahead. If you use the preset EQ settings the Hissing is not too bad and still very loud.

Ok I tried Sunfire's + Megabass6 acoustics on my K800, but when using them my speaker is cracking a lot and there is simple TOO MUCH bass on headphones. So I'm with W880 original acoustics at this moment. They are loud but they have too much trebble... So I have to wait until W880 driver with less treble is made to suit my needs completely.

Then same goes to W880i acoustic much treble but louder. Mongoose, all K800/K790 users would appreciate if possible for you to upload your modded K790 acoustics for all of us? Highly appreciate the work you have done.
