The k550 is a better phone because the quality sum of it's parts is bigger than that of the k750.
First of all it's software is smarter, faster and more reliable. The k750 had a lot of problems, and all of the people who had it that I talked to told me it just went off very often for no reason ... also .. bluetooth problems ..
The k550 keypad is just fine .. I tipe sms messages all the time and it's real easy once you get used to the T9 dictionary and the * and # functions
The camera is generaly speaking the same and sometimes better than the k750. That's because you have more built in options for taking pictures .. like the scenes (Twilight landscape, portrait .. beach/snow .. etc.. ) and metering mode. These can be controlled in the k750 only by modifying it's camera software .. and using them is hard ..
That being said, k550 takes pictures of roughly the same quality during the day and BETTER quality at night (10x to the extended exposure time of the Twilight scenes) than a k750 with original firmware.
Also .. there are the full screen internet browser .. video player .. improved mp3 player .. 2.0 bluetooth .. the phone can be used as a memory stick!! just plug in the data cable in a computer, select File transfer and BINGO!! .. bigger screen .. easyer access to battery
And last but not least .. It's a hell lot more sexy!
