if the K850 is to mass-produced, i don't think the price will be at anywhere near N95

I'm quite disappointed with the quality of K850i photos. Why didn't they put a CCD sensor that can be found in i-mobile 902 in K850i. It would be a perfect phone if they did that. So far in the battle of these CMOS 5 MP phones the winner is clearly Samsung SGH-G600, but we still have to wait for Samsung F700, LG KU990 & Samsung G800 (although I'm not sure if the last two are going to have a CCD sensor).

I know you also have the i-mobile 902. By now I think you may have noticed why i-mobile put in a 1100mAh battery in the phone, and that the phone tends to heat up when shooting a lot of photos. This is one of the reasons for many of the manufacturers choosing CMOS today: CCD is very power hungry!
Another reason is that a camera phone shooting photos of the quality that the i-mobile 902 produces is a serious threat to the point-and-shoot market. (Have you tried any A3-sized printouts yet? If not, then I recommend this
)

! Well my K750i had 900mAh battery, and it lasted around 3 days with, every day camera, mp3 player & call usage. So I think 1100mAh battery will last the same. You're right, about CCD sensors being a serious threat to the point-and-shoot market, because I know there are many users that want that all in one device (5 MP CCD camera, MP3 Player & a Phone).We're lucky we got 902!
p.s. And I waited for K850i for so long and now i don't want to buy it.

Whomever said that “Purple Fringing” is caused by a LENS???? It’s the SENSOR. Example many current and 2 yr old Kodak camaras – point & shoot & the 10x zoom (which uses Multiple Lenses) – have purple fringing around the corners of the images that they take. There is even the case of a Canon A40 – which has interchangeable lenses – that had purple fringing until they revamped their assembly line. No feature changes just the chip!

Purple fringing is for the most part caused by chromatic aberration which is (again) caused by LENS defects.
Let's not have SE devotees making up the "facts" to fit their opinions thank you.
