with this car, Pontik decided to bring their inspiration from the 14th century Aztecs. Except Pontiac spelled it with a "k" because spelling words inkorrectly is totally kool TO THE MAX.
i can just imagine the designers brainstorming, when suddenly the bosses son came up with this barf: "hey, let's make the back end of the car look like a deformed rhombus, and while we're at it, let's smash two cars on top of each other for the front half and call it a day!" the double grill disaster they have going on in the front sets a new benchmark for stupid grills (previously held by the cadillac escalade)
then again, even people from the 14th century probably had better taste than the people who buy cars today.

The old a-class was fab!
Only the A210 AMG. And it still
looked disappointing although performance was said to be fairly good.
Still, a current shape A200 Turbo has the lot, looks good, goes fast, has a boot and is compact, what else?

I think most cars have a boot tbh. And for the 5 door model its nearly £22000 with standard features. For a good spec one your looking for atleast £23,500. For that kind of money you could have a proper car, or a proper hot hatch with an extra 5 grand in your pocket...
I guess you got me there but the A200 Turbo does look pretty good, is pokey, has the Merc branding/history that you just can't get anywhere else (come on, lets face it) and comprehensive dealer back-up, 30 years road side assistance (yes!, 30 whole years!), 30 years corrosion guarantee...
You don't get 5 doors in the Focus ST and at the end of the day, it's a Ford, not a Merc (that only doesn't matter if it's a Ford GT)...
Oh, and the rear seats are very very usable, more roomy than the previous C-Class ('til 2007 model), it beats most cars at rear legroom!
EDIT:
This is an ugly one too:
Subaru Tribeca.
According to TG Mag:
"Don't be fooled by squinting. The Tribeca will be just as ugly no matter what you do to your vision."

so you pay £23 grand to make people think better of you because you own a merc.
You'd look alot better in a Orange ST, Posh small cars are for posh "small" (catch my drift) men. i.e BMW 1, Merc A-class.
I'd rather be seen in a 98' M5 or a Mondeo St220 than a little merc with a posh warranty.
