the plastic cover doesnt cover the flash...theres a hole in it
For example...I've just taken a picture of a hole in the floor where I am. if I dont use the flash, the picture is perfectly bright and clear. If I switch the flash on (to illuminate whats IN the hole) its very dark indeed...

@bobby_splithead2000
so use the spot metering mode with the 'twillight portrait' profile!!
it's been said several times.

@plank:
so you recommend using manual ISO/profile instead of AUTO?
It doesnt choose the right option if you leave it on AUTO?
thanks

my english is sometimes hard to understand.................what i mean is that example ISO.100 gives awesome flash pictures & perfect to use in strong sunshine, (depending of the light), etc, etc, etc
ps...i asked 2 people (who i think get very good k850 pictures) and both said that they use the stablizer ON all time...i also use the stabilizer ON all time..(the only time it dosent mather is with flash pictures)..but landscape, portrait it works very good...
(Sony use this stabilzer in some of there digi cams, so its a good feature)

ye i know, but what im asking is..the k850 doesnt choose the right ISO setting by itself when you are making flash pictures or pictures in strong sunshine?

Just got my K850i yesterday and have read all the stuff about the flash being out of synch etc but even when I take a picture indoors in fairly bright conditions with flash on the pictures come out dark... what am I doing wrong?
Hold your phone in a way so that your fingers does not block the light sensors, which is located just below the LED. If it still comes out not very bright, use twilight portrait setting. If not, OFF your flash. Even commercial Digital camera flash cannot fully brighten a very big room, unless you used a very powerful flash.

he he he..of course it does..(that does every cameras on every phones/digi cams)
the thing is that you "help" the camera to choose the right ISO setting...sometimes the result gets better, sometimes not, (thats why

made that feature)
example with flash, i allways get best pics with iso.100
example strong sunshine i often use iso.100, (because the camera will use iso.64)
