Why I'm still having problem with sending email via IMAP.. I just can received email but while sending the below error occur..

"The sending failed because the account has errors in its server setting"

My setting on P1i

Incoming Settings
Secure connection : SSL
Server Port: 993

Outgoing Settings
Secure connection : SSL/TLS (both tried)
Server Port: 465
Use MIME encoding : Tick/Untick (both tried)

Can anyone help me?

Thanks

Already did. But same message appeared. What about "received/send using group" setting. It's affect gmail IMAP setting ?

Try this service
http://monet.morange.com/reg_free.aspx?invite=bennyco@morange.com

It has longer "heartbeat" intervals, and offers free services for certain account.

i use a p1i, in india and i have used
Incoming Mail (IMAP) Server - requires SSL: imap.gmail.com
Use SSL: Yes
Port: 993
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server - requires TLS: smtp.gmail.com
Use Authentication: Yes
Use TLS: Yes
Port: 465
Account Name: my Gmail username (including @gmail.com)
Email Address: my full Gmail email address (username@gmail.com)
Password: your Gmail password
i have ticked the push mail checkbox.

When i use send/receive, the messages do download - but not automatically.
Am i missing some setting?

So thanks to your advice on this forum, I enabled IMAP and set up a Gmail account.... good... it worked... well for the first few emails...

Around this time I un-installed Blackberry Connect a I would never need it now....

Then the emails stopped coming in automatically... how does that work when I was never even registered to Blackberry???? Now I am tearing my hair out with this thing again.

I can manually connect to gmail and do a send and receive (get and send), so the account settings must be OK, but nothing is pushed to my phone...

Push email is set to 'always on'
'Push email' is selected under the IMAP choice in the email account

Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
