Which service provider do you intend to use when you get to U.S.? Is it as simple as dropping in a sim from US carrier? Do you think you will be able to use many of the P800's features? Like web browsing?
@everyone,
I am really jealous of all you in Europe who will have first access to the P800. On the other hand, even $800 seems very expensive to me, so I guess I'll have to wait a bit for the price to drop once it is released here.
Good luck to all of you who are scrambling to be the first owners of this amazing phone.
Please let us know what it's like, once you finally get it!

i have ordered and paid it in the telia shop in uppsala! and they say they will gett it this week!
do the telia shop in malmö have any preordered P800? (thinking of that they do not order this phoe this early if they don´t have any intrested people becuse the phones are needed in other shops, but who knows!)
But your telia shop hade the price on it?

They didn't have a price... they had no date when it was going to be out or anything. They didn't know jack! I really want that phone. I hope Geab will get it this week. A good Xmas present to myself.

Be aware that if you order a phone in Sweden from abroad you do not have to pay the extremely high Swedish VAT (moms). So if anyone is checking out the Swedish internet merchants you should look at the lower price.
For example, Medialaget's prices are SEK 5796 and SEK 7245. That is quite a difference! However, I don't know if Medialaget ships outside of Scandinavia.
