I've seen good and bad in both Nokia and SE, my nokia E50 is built fantastically (made in Finland), the Nokia N73 less so (also made in Finland). The Nokia 6300 of my wife is very well built, especially when considering its cheap price tag. My old SE K750i was very creaky but it was always 100% reliable, my present SE W880i is very solid and feels fantastic. The SE K850 I tried felt creaky and cheaply made so I sent it straight back. I have always found Samsung and Motorola's to be well built on the whole but unfortunately both suffer from poor UI's.

Read that and learn something, N-series are made in various countries, the Finnish models ARE superior, much more so IMO than ANY Chinese made SE.

I guess those chinese workers drink too much coffe and talk with their workmates too much instead of making nice phones..
