good point. seems that nokia decidede for rounded style, but to be honest, in a biz fone, i would prefer the old style, no rounds. imo 6233 etc style are way to fancy for a biz fone, th old style looks more solid and "serious"

@Prom1
Of course you are entitled to your view and opinion and it is as valid as anyone else's, but to me the E61 was something quite special and i really loved the form factor. I would of liked to have seen all the improvements minus the GPS and shape change in the same form as the original but that is just what my preference would of been. But as i now have a E90 it doesn't really matter to me as i seriously doubt i will sell my E90 for one.
I may be completely wrong and the general populous may much prefer this slimmer sleeker version but then i can't talk for them only for me. Anyway i would imagine it will be yet another successful E series in Nokia's line up.

Dogman, thank you. You scoundrel you - in a joking way. lol . you HAVE the coveted E90!? WOW ....
I wanna see a review: Size, portability perceptions, which apps natively work without modifications, etc?
Many ppl DO love the E61, very functional and powerful and quick to get to the keypad. But where the E90 rains supreme is that wide screen; spreadsheets & webbrowsing are incredible on it.

"We gave Nokia's E61 an editor's choice award when we reviewed it at the end of 2006, noting that, at the time, it offered a high-quality smartphone experience in a BlackBerry-esque body. Well, the game has changed quite a bit since 2006 and we're eager to see if the E71 has what it takes to keep up with the Joneses.
From the limited details we have so far, the E71 sounds like it has everything you'd expect -- which is to say -- it has everything. HSDPA (3.6Mbps) Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro SD support, a QWERTY keyboard and a 3.2-megapixel camera. Onboard GPS also assures Nokia is keeping its promise of having GPS in every new device.
We were lucky enough to see a "secret" side-by-side photo of the E71 with its older, bigger brother at this year's 2008 Nokia Showcase, and we were glad to see the newer model is considerably smaller. In fact, if early reports are true, the E71 is only 57mm wide and a svelte 10mm thick. This should make lovers of BlackBerry's Pearl series think twice before their next PDA purchase.
No word yet on pricing but we look forward to seeing the E71 in the CNET labs towards the end of Q2."

only because the number... maybe I'm being dim.. but i would have assumed an E71 would the replacement for the E70 (I know it's not) but the numbers would suggest that..
and yes! I love the candy bar, fold out keyboard idea.. I've had em all! 6800, 6810, 6820, 6822, E70
