I was awake late and i felt my bed rock but it was only ever so slight for 6 seconds. It was not that strong in Birmingham nothing like the Dudley one years ago. We are lucky here in uk we dont get them so bad or too big. It made me nervous though so i just made a cup of tea and felt better. Wont sleep now though i know its not going to get any worse.

I felt that one I was down the road from Dudley (West Bromwich)
that lasted longer then lastnights !

The Dudley earthquake of 2002 i was covering a night shift at The Burlington Hotel in Birmingham where i worked for 10 years. The very old building creaked so much it was very unnerving but we laughed about it afterwards. Hardly any hotel guests said anything they slept through it. Crazy. My manager was on the loo when it happened. He said he sh*t himself(literally). LOL. The next day there was stuff online saying THE BIRMINGHAM EARTHQUAKE APPEAL. Lol so funny that was.

I believe Scotland had a quake last year it was 3.7 up in Dumfries. I read it in paper but it was so small with no damage it was not on news. Scotland so i read has earthquakes more on the west side which is more sparsley populated so no one feels them they happen in the mountains. I have experienced a quake when on holiday on Greek island of Kefalonia which is near Italy. A large crack opened up on a nearby beach. Scary. Not much damage though.
