Lol im using Opera Mini right now on my N81 because im trying to save the last bit of my data bundle until next week, otherwise the S60 Web Browser is far better, it can be minimized, it supports Flash8 content, it doesn't give errors all the time etc. . . . Between a W910 and N73 i wouldn't either i'd try get a 5700, i450 or if your budget is big enough go for N81 or N78.

Nokia web browser easily beats the opera mini. Its much, much easier to use. I cant really imagine someone with a nokia using opera mini

I don't agree, however on the N73 you could use opera mobile, which supports tabbed browsing (well the WM version of Opera Mobile supports tabbed browsing - not sure about the s60 version).

If Opera Mini also supported tabbed browsing it would be a clear winner.

As it is, Opera Mini and the N73 native browser are just as useful as eachother.

You have to take some time to get used to the shortcuts though to get the best out of it.

You can minimise Opera Mini on W910 (you can run multiple java apps as well as task switch between them and minimise). I don't know about errors, I don't get any myself and I use Opera Mini a fair bit.

You are right about flash support, this is a disappointment but for youtube if you visit youtube with your W910 you will get the mobile version. I just tried it and all the videos I have uploaded play fine, it seems the mobile version provides access to the same videos as the full version.

G705 has full youtube support native (including uploads):

I own a K850 as well so i know exactly what the W910 is capable of, running Music Player, Opera Mini, and an IM app all at once can bring these javas to a slow crawl, doing the same on a 5700 or N81 doesnt slow them down, at this very moment im running OperaMini3 here at Esato, the S60 Web browser at a wapsite not use too much data, Music Player and MXit IM app, and my N81 is still fast doing the same on a SE Java can slow it down. The errors im talking about are the ones given by the Netfront built-in web browser in the SEs.
YouTube Mobile gives horrible quality though, i was using it a few days ago before my k850 got the BROD.

Well I can only speak from my experience with the W910 (I haven't used K850 extensively) but I can use opera mini, listening to music via the kdplayer, while browsing my phone with mini commander or moby explorer.

True youtube mobile gives poor quality.

But I do find the W910 less stable than the K800 but only when using the media player alongside java. Occasionally the media player crashes when java apps are in use taking out the java platform as well. Actually if anything is dodgy on the A200 platform it's the Media Player which needs a lot of work imho to be more efficient.

I find using kd player instead of the media player results in no latency and is more stable. So like a smartphone, We don't have to rely on the inbuilt apps if third parties offer better solutions.

Videos and Photos are best viewed via the file manager. The photo slide show is the only real use I have for the SE Media Player (only because I haven't found a j2me solution yet that I like)

Glad to help!

Don't forget A200 can shortcut Java apps to the direction pad - so you can set a shortcut to KD Player for easy access.

Hi there,
I used n70 ,n73, n95 for a while ,but i do have k800. I'd say , the SEs beat down the nokias in the aspect (running java apps). It take ages to install a game on n73. Wherever you're playing and push on red butten ,the game would turn off and never back. There is no an option to minimize the games and use the phone, the games are REALLY REALLY SLOW . On the other hand i use my k800 for gaming and i'd oppen 4 games and it's as good as having only one oppend.
In a comparison between the k800 and the n73, i installed the game shrak on both phones, and started them , the game on the k FLOW . on the n73 it was ok but comparing to the other the phone was CHOCKING.
It be fair i did it with a non-smartphone and the result is THE SAME.
I'm with SE the way long and my update phone is gonna be the P1
Sorry for the spelling
