Perfect phone:

* design, size and battery perfomance of T68i
* keys sensibility of K610i
* weight of T66
* network capabilites of X1
* no cameras, no radio, no players and on other such kind new age stuff
* very clear black and white screen
* solid hausing: water, dust and shock proof
* matt glass display, like on good old GA 628

i think with devices becoming as complex as they are...it is virtually impossible to work out all the bugs and niggles!!...altho i totally agree with you....they should atleast go through much more vigorous testing and make the system far more stable than what we are getting currently!!!

well here's the spec for my perfect SE...with reasoning..and i believe it can be made as all the technologies are currently implemented in some phone or another

>3g quadband
>5mp camera with xenon flash autofocus and 3x optical zoom (:SE:'s japanese phone has it already)
>30fps VGA recording
>gps
>wifi b/g
>multi-touch touchscreen for certain operation
>dvb-h and recording (:SE: japanese bravia phone i think can do it)
>divx support (i think there are some phones out there that do support it)
>bluetooth 2.1
>fm reciever and transmitter (they have implemented it in some phones already and new texas instrument chip does bluetooth..fm recieve and transmit all in one)
>dual micro-sd and m2 slot
>8gb or 16gb internal memory (would make having an mp3 player unnecessary..and it has been implement in n96 and iphone)
>powerful processor and enough ram (i m assuming TI-omap34xx would be good...to ensure smooth operations and good multimedia playback on the phone)
>the beloved play / pause button
>circular d-pad with scrolling (not sure if p5 has something like that...but this is on my canon sd860..i m sure wouldnt be too difficult to implement on a phone either)
>3.5mm jack
>tv-out
>XMB mediaplayer
>UIQ3.3 (or UIQ4 preferably)

i think that should keep me happy for a few years...lol!!!

The perfect SE for me : K810 with dpad (instead of joystick), HSDPA, A2, 2.2" display, Flash lite, WiFi enabler support and metal housing. Please retain the quality lens and xenon flash!

anyway, SO705i with tribadn GSM would grow on me either. lol
