i was comparing the n82 screen to its big brother..the n95..

and for your kind info..the k850 keypad is quite comfortable to use...maximum utilization of space and a wonderful dpad, are its plus points..the soft keys are brilliant..the keys are soft and well protruded..

the n82 does not come near to egronomics as the k850..

the user has clearly mentioned his needs..he does not want a symbian phone..and mal-utilization of a symbain phone can lead to slowness which hampers the performance of the phone in the long run..

and QVGA..please..i never referred to u in any of my posts..i am trying to give my opinion..and i would be obliged if you please stick to your own..everyone in this forum has an opinion to himself and disrespecting others does not put you in good light whatsoever..

Give your opinion like a civilized person. Its not me who is being disrespectful, its you. Everyone in this post is against you, more because of your behavior. Just because you're on an online forum doesnt mean you grow an extra set of balls and wave them around here.
And please read before you post, the user didnt say he doesnt want a symbian, he said he doesnt care if the phone has one. Quite different in meaning than what you said.

And as for symbian being slow because of its mis-use. I can only say if someone can mis-use a symbian, he probably will mis-use a toilet paper; because its no more difficult to use than SE, in fact its easier. I know because i've been using one for 2 years now. How long have you been using a nokia?

I'd reckon the N82 is better,

-no (semi-)touchscreen
-GPS on board
-Symbian S60 system

But i will be a SE addict

Why not? This is a big topic and we should discuss it endlessly! Every little flaw and bug raked over and over.

Sorry, I couldn't help borrowing a line from Zardoz as these threads reminded me of the movie.

N82 is 1 000 000 times better than K850 ever will be. Non-negotiable. Full stop.

Guys, we all know how superior N82 is over K850 specs wise. We don't need to constantly reiterate stating N82 is better than K850 or whatsoever. The main thing here lies on the personal user experience that the two offers on the target user. if the author of this thread finds K850 well fitting his lifestyle then he should go for it, otherwise go to N82. there is generally no better phone that fit litterally all of us that's why we have lots of phone varieties to choose from.

N82 is better because:
1. An open OS means limitless possibilities with limitless apps ranging from IR remote control to real business solutions such as project management tools etc)
2. More stable & tested platform as compared to K850
3. Looks more exclusive and value for money if you're into that kinda thing
4. Camera is arguably better if not relatively the same with K850 (I personally think it's better)
5. More fun with limitless uses as compared to K850, in short, whatever K850 has, N82 has and so much more (games, multimedia functions, etc)

If your requirements are to be able in a whole day to shot over 100 photos (with a good camera) and to have several telephone calls (with very good quality) k850 is the best.
I could have the best cameraphone but if the battery doesnt last sufficiently i need two devices or two full charged bettery.

How many more of these threads must we see. N82 rules all end of story. I personally didnt like it but in terms of functionality it wipes the floor with the k850 in just about every way....no wait a mintue. In every way!

The only thing the k850 has going for it is that its cheaper.
