I would say that reinserting the battery could remove the temp files, if any occur. As Nipsen said, cannot be worse than it is

What about Mode's comment that he can't use the P990 as a modem? Anyone experiencing the same problem?

Could be another thing caused by slight differences in the chipsets/hardware revisions from phone to phone. Maybe even down to differing firmware revision?

@AD: Could be, mine's labelled 07W32 (2007 week 32?) and is reflashed to GW1 with R9K009 firmware. I can definitly notice the speed increase in nearly everything: contact manager, calender etc. and what's even nicer is that Walkman3 now runs smoothly with animations turned on.
So far no problems/errors encountered, so me is really happy with this mod.

Apropos hw revisions, here is an obvious difference bet P1i rev. R4A (IMEI: 357033011xxxxxx) and R5A (IMEI: 357033012xxxxxx - 357033014xxxxxx):
R4A has a yellowish keyboard lighting, R5A has a white one.
I'm not sure to which of the revisions 357033015xxxxxx belongs, as I've never seen one, but starting with IMEI 357033016xxxxxx it is R6A.
Anyone with rev. R7A or higher ?
