(sorry for my silly question) does SE generally correct these all bugs through software updates or do they remain for ever once you have bought the phone.
this is the first symbian phone i was planning 2 buy but i am quite
disappointed by problems listed in this thread. my w810 had no problems right from beginning.

@ JANE4U2

The bugs are reduced with every update but even after ten updates there always will be bugs. Sometimes the new firmwares bring new bugs with them so you can generally say that a phone will be never bug free.

Imo I can't see that many problems with the G900. It isn't like you'll have all the problems that other users are reporting about in your unit. In most of the cases the problems are individual to some users only.
The only problems that the most users have is the dust under the screen problem and the low reception.

the mnu goin ladnscape is an old bug guys. And you dont even need to restart the phone to fix it(just go around presing back button or something n mine usually gets fixed that way). This bug usually happens when your browsing an applkcation for ex camera or media in landscape and then suddenly(or maybe not) you change to menu or something like that.

hi all, am new here and i've been reading about all the firmware update stuff.. like Creid, i have a R6H815 customized Singapore.

question: what's the diff if the phone is "unbranded" and why does everyone seem to want to have the generic world 1 version?

thanks.

hi creid, so i guess the advantage of making it unbranded is that you get the updates sooner? but like for the customized singapore, we will still get the updates right? just a tad later though? or would it be a long wait?

Does anyone know if XS++ v 3.1 support the G900 yet?
