sorry, whats the issue with tomtom?
I got TT7 working fine on TyTN II, then diamond and now X1 with 6.75 maps so I'd be surprised if there was an issue with the HD?

My issue is actually with the Omnia and TT7 saying it is not compatible with the device.

Bit strange we are both having issues!

Hi masseur and Nanu,

I have 6.03 working on TyTn II but there are issues with TomTom 6.0.0 and 6.03. on the HD.

I got Tom Tom working with a different cab - ttn6ifalleni.cab

Doesn't pick up the inbuilt gps receiver so need to choose other NMEA receiver and input the values there for com and baud rate.

Tom Tom looks really good on screen in the select route views, but pretty standard views when it is doing it's stuff..

ah! yes... I know what you mean. I thought you were having an operational issue rather than an install issue

you need to grab an XDA developers version of TT7 that doesn't check the platform its being installed on. I did have this same issue on the X1 but once I had the right executable, the maps that I own from 6.75 (which is really the licencable part) worked fine

Hi Ofiaich,

Have you got the GPS to work then?

Apparently once I get TT running I will need to install Gpsgate in order for it to use the internal GPS.

just did a quick search over at XDA for that, but could not find it. Do you have a link ?

Hi !

listening to music and I do feel the sound from the Touch HD is much richer than the iPod Touch 32gb that I had...

I think my ears are as good as Ninja Simon Cowell with his "better open my mouth to enhance pharyngo-tympanic tube function, whilst at the same time tugging on my ear lobe' as taught by Ninjitsu warriors. ... as they prepare for their stealth attack,,,

Oh! back to my music !
