All sorted now i think phone is working again.
I've noticed something though before i flashed it in the settings menu under general there was something saying update service that is no longer there so how do i check my software version?

Well done mate! You have finally updated ur phone!
To check ur software info, go into service menu (>*<<*<*). The reason the FOTA is disabled is that most operators dont allow this function anyway.
