Whats happened to mine??
It shows my image in the profile page but not here.

When you update your user profile, it may take some time for the system to update the images shown in the forums. User data is cached for some time to reduce database queries.
The small avatar is a compromise. Doing it this way, we allow some member customization without being too intrusive with large blinking images. Sign in and move the mouse over the avatar to view a larger version of the avatars.

its just a quick hack of an avatar I use on other sites which shows fireworks over the Sydney Harbour Bridge on New Years Eve.
It doesn't look so clear in this small size so I will have to rework it sometime
this was the original pic before resizing

Not a fan of the custom avatars. I prefer Esato as it was, without them. It kept the place looking tidy. And while I appreciate that you probably made the avatars small to keep the place tidy, I think they are so small that they aren't worth having.
Keep up the good work though. The new features you are bringing to Esato are great!
Yeah we'll turn ours off in protest
