does debranding invalidate the manufacturers warranty or can it be flashed back with say vodafone branding again ?

No it does not void your warranty.
You can always go back to the branded firmware.

Lie. Any tampering with phone's software voids manufacturers warranty, that includes debranding. True, you can come back to branded software and wish yourself luck service centres won't find out.

So what button will I need to press on the Satio when I connect the USB cable?

For most SE phones I've had, it's been the C button.

Cheers

When running SEUS, it's the green (answer) button. I believe it's the same for other firmware uploaders.

Unlocking for Satio is out with our client. Haven't got a Satio phone yet to test the debrand.
Debranding for Jalou , Aino & Yari is supported now.

Where? In your site the satio is not in the list of the supported phones!
