Well having use a N97 running up to date firmware i had no issues with the phone. Except i couldnt get it on O2.
So id expect the same from Satio once new firmware is released. Oh and btw, i dont know if anyone noticed but SE are still advertising the Satio on UK primetime tv, so it cannot be all that broken..

I've just got home from a trip into town. Was supposed to be buying christmas presents but went into a few phone shops along the way. The CPW store in Hanley, Staffordshire are still selling both black and silver Satio's. I played with both all they both seemed fine software wise but I did manage to break the lens cover on both. It just completely came off in my hands. The silver one came out better though as only one side came off but the other side got stuck tight leaving the lens cover at an angle and about 1cm away from the phone :-(
They also had the black and the white Aino for sale along with O2 still selling the white Aino as well.

Yea but the funny side of it is that it was the same thing on both phones that got damaged ??? What are to odds of that ?

Surprisingly, in GSM Arena, Satio is within top 3 by rate commanding some 50k votes. Very close to Motorola and HTC !!

@ Rookwise - you didnt by any chance question the staff as to why the phone is still on sale in their store but pulled from all or most other CPW stores ??

Yes I did. They've not had any faults reported from the people who've bought from them and all the batch's they have received have tested fine. However. I was told the Newcastle Under Lyme and Tunstall branches which are also near me in Staffordshire have done a recall on all versions of the Satio.
However. They couldn't explain how the two units i'd tried broke in my hands lol.
On a side note. I've been to one of our local Tesco stores today and they are also still selling the Satio on Orange for free at 35.00 a month for an 18 month contract.

Exactly i cannot understand it.
CPW have recalled it (most of them anyway), so have P4U.
SE are still advertising the Satio on tv and my local bus stop shelter. Most online retailers still stock the phone. Other shops have it and have no reason to recall it - Tesco being one of them. Its annoying me because i wanted a silver Satio on O2 PAYG for the girlfriend but atm i cannot find one local that still stocks them.
