Just to add to Nanu's remarks, he did help me when Scott let me down and I will be eternally grateful. He also sent me a funny card just after the death of my son nearly three years ago. I had never met the guy, only on here, and it was really appreciated and it was needed. I also had lots of other good wishes. Why did I come on here the night he died? I felt amongst friends. That's what most people are like on here. I've never met you all either!
I have had PM's from Scott since and would deal with him again tomorrow. Communicatuion is the most important aspect of any deal. You get promised a date - it doesn't happen - start the distrust. I always offer on here first as it is usually painless then if no takers and as a last resort usually, Ebay with all the fees, Paypal fees and the dealing with a complete stranger!
This place is good - let's keep it so guys!

to be honest, I dont think I will get anything back at all, I live in germany so even if I knew where he lives it would be hard to go to him and demand the money back...

Don't lose hope yet. Scottt's a good lad, I've know him for a few years now on here, Xbox Live twitter and facebook. Hopefully when he gets back on his feet he will see you straight.
We all fall on hard times. Just some handle it better than others...
