thanks for your answers, let me explain you what did it do on this modd
as i said i tried to improved the video an image quality, so changed the bitrate from 3000 to 5000 (VGA) and 5000 to 8000 (WVGA) (now im trying to lift the audio bitrate too), for image is i did the same, also change some values for colors and sharpness, i didnt touch the compression since i couldnt find it, but i got and idea and try it today
see you soon

I made a test driver here: ,
http://www.sendspace.com/file/sempon
The main editable things i have listed below , with a brief description , the best values can be found with trial and error.
VideoFileMimeType=video/*, is the video container satio supports 3gp & mp4 , unknown if other containers are supported
VideoCodecMimeType=video/* is the video codec satio supports H263-2000 & mp4v-es , unknown if other codecs are supported
profile-level-id=* not sure what this is
VideoWidth=*,VideoHeight=*,video width and height in pixels
VideoFrameRate=*, fps of the video
VideoBitRate=* , bitrate of the video in bits
VideoPixelAspectRatioNum=*,VideoPixelAspectRatioDenom=*, something to do with the aspect ratio might be possible to have 16:9 & 4:3
AudioFourCCType= *, audio codec satio supports amr & acc it might support mp3 aswell.
AudioBitrate=* audio bitrate in bits its possible to increase, i think 320000 , 320kbps is the limit
AudioSamplingRate=* , audio sampling rate in hz , satio might support 192000hz
AudioChannels=* , audio channels 1 = mono 2 = stereo etc, satio probley won't support any more than 1 because it only has 1 mic , unless it can convert the 1 channel to 2.
AVSyncStartDelay=* AVSyncResumeDelay=*, possibly the sync between audio & video unnessary to change unless there out of sync.
_______________________________
Night mode settings
VideoNightFrameRate=* , fps of video when night mode is selected might also affect shutter speed in photo mode, current is 8 which would give 1/8 sec shutter speed , 6 = 1/6 sec shutter etc.
CMRAvgVideoBitRateScaler=* , something to do with nightmode video bitrate
VideoComplexitySetting=*, ????
CMRLatencyQualityTradeoff=*, something to do with the latency quality in photo mode
CMRPictureQuality=* , i assume this is compression in %
CMRQualityTemporalTradeoff=* , something to do with photo quality i think lower is better
_____________________________
ImageFileExtension=* might be possible to have .png etc,
CompressionQuality=* , in %
EstimatedSize=*, rough file size
________________________________
10208696.txt
contains bitrates/files size/fps/sample rates , all the main settings
It contains the 12mp file size settings the first .txt file lacks
0x486 = 12mp max file size in bytes
0x996 = i think is overall jpeg compression in %

Just tested your driver, picture quality is better, about 0.5 mb more in file size.
I don't think there is a value that you can change for compression quality as the configuration file is similar to that of a UIQ smartphone which never had that setting in the camera driver.
Also, you do not need the c2z rompatcher+ patch to use this!

I just came back and found this thread...should I be trying this new test driver or the one from the original post?

It's not much different from the p1 driver no, all there is is compression and file size settings for photos theres no colour or sharpness settings so you can't really improve photo quality that much , i think 500kb is the biggest file increase you can get i did set the max file size at around 9mb , i was only able to an extra 500kb on my p1's driver aswell it must be a firmware limit.
