@Boinng, well then you are the kind of person Bloomp was refering to when he said about people having opinions about p800 needing T9 when they hav`nt even got the phone.
Are you seriously saying that if you bought a p800 & discovered it had a faster way to input text than T9 that you would`nt be happy & satisfied like me ?
You say "while phones still have keypads they should have T9"
The p800 HASN`T got a physical keypad if you use it flip removed, the virtual keypad lacks feel so using t9 on it would`nt be like on a traditional phone. however i find the qwerty keyboard great for text input.
You say vioce input is silly because its just as easy to send a vioce mail, ha ha i send emails on my p800 & your suggesting it would be as easy to send text to a PC using voicemail are you ?
This phone is a NOW phone,if your stuck in the last decade then use an 8310 Nokia. It`s quite simple stay away from the P800.

what pisses me off is when you get a new sms you look in your inbox and all the sms's are still closed, so you are like: "woah, i have a lot to read...." and then you realise it's just the P800's retarded software.....
AND IT'S NOT THAT I CAN'T SEE THE BOLD, I JUST THINK THAT AN OPEN ENVELOPE IS EASIER................................

No... it's just the retarded owner unable to read the software. New sms are bold while previous messages are normal font.

@arroyootje, is posting all over esato about how crap the p800 is, saying it has no picture folders & other stuff, saying the software is backward because he can`t see bold type is another typical example of his unfounded complaints,
most of his comments are incorrect, he bought the phone a week ago & is hampered by the fact that he is not clever enough to use this device, in fact he could easily be mistaken for a moron.
@arroyootje, i`m sorry mate but if your not stupid then maybe your eyes are failing you.
I`m posting here because i`m worried that some people who are considering buying a p800 may be put off by his rubbish.

agreed with pachy
seriously.. T9? keyboard is so much faster!!
I keep up on TipicME and ppl dont realise I am typing from a phone..
who ever is badmouthing the lack of T9 is just jealous at the fact that they dont hv a P8 and r trying to come up with reasons to make em feel better...
seriously, everyone who bashes this phone is just jealous of it.. I hv yet to find faults in this phone..
the only phone to which I dont know what the successor will be (well, z1010 but it doesnt work in n. america)
basically, dont badmouth something u cant get to make u feel better..
the P800 is the greatest phone ever made, end of story
I never used T9 in my life and I find T9 to be a pain in the ass, I can spell just fine w/o it and I used to type with Tap almost as fast as ppl with T9... they might be done like 5 seconds before me..
and if that 5 seconds is crucial for u, hell, might as well call the person, faster to talk than to type I think....
and that's my 9cents... hehehe

@brick and pachy: No need to be bitchy!!!
I still believe that people are intitled to their opinion, what the hell is the point in having a forum otherwise? Maybe it would be a wise idea for you two to start your own little forum and then no one will disagree with you! I have always been satisfied with

,but i AM really disappointed in the P800 and if anyone asked MY opinion i would NOT advise them to buy it, though i would quote the abilities and disabilities in an objective manner.
I have had quite a few mobile phones and PDA's but I just think that it is not as user friendly as it should be and i think there are MANY basic little things that

didn't bother thinking about, which is CRAP!
I don' t believe I am the only one, cos if you look at the 'suggestion for improvements for P800' thread, you will see that there are many who feel the same way!
Have some respect for other people's opinions even if you don't think they are right, i'm willing to discuss and give my point of view.......
For God's sake, it's cos of narrow-minded, ignorant people like you that wars start.........
