Shouldn't the object be centred on a line? Not in one of the nine tiles?

Yes indeed. Tranced, your pic has to have it's object either at one of the 4 points where the lines cross or alongside one of those 4 lines What you have done now is putting the object in the middle of the picture
Here's my entry (for now ) Click on it to see the original.

Good shot horizon on the bottom line. Left line in between the kids.

Nice shot, io_bg. Perfectly placed every thing.

Will try few shots in a day or two. But the weather is playing tricky here.

Thank you Hans and Ceaser
Don't be afraid of experimenting even when the weather isn't that good. You can often happen to take great shots after rain for example

One question: can I use a 3rd party app just to enable the 3x3 template? Just that.

That's a shame tranced as it is a good shot!!@cyber-shoter that is a really cleverly captured shot!! Just got the right timing when she posed like that.

@cyber-shoter yes it is valid

@tranced, do you mean to have a 3x3 template in the viewfinder to help take pictures? sure no problem, as long as there's no photo post processing done it's okay
