looks like it's confirmed the LED light strip changes color depending on the need. i was really hpoing this would be true cause that would make an awesome light effect for notifications and such.
still haven't found any information on the material...

I think S is nicer than Ion... Ion looks like many other android phones. It's very generic. S is much more unique in style. lack of SD card slot kinda sucks, but that's what cloud storage is for

The new UXP that they're talking about on both the ion and s, think it will come to the 2011 phones? I have a feeling it wont
is there any confirmation on this? Also in the video above it seems that they scraped the current camera layout! It's now got a standard silver button like other android phones... that is a shame as the current interface is so good.

Because the new Xperia range announced is called the 'NXT series' and they talk about the interface of this series being the UXP look. They probably want to differentiate this series and so wont update the 2011 range...

We shall see I guess Sony will want to keep their older Xperia owners happy for a while like they did last year. They did well last year on update promises.
