Well those "prototypes" are actually retail DSLR cameras
LOL.
And true, 808 Pureview + Win8 would have been awesome. And the Lumia 920 is a heavyweight already at 185 grams, so I don't see why they couldn't make a Win8 Pureview with 20mp or even 41mp.

In all honesty I couldn't give a flying f**k. It's a gorgeous phone with great specs and all we need for a great experience finally with same features of an Android handset. I fail to see how it's"underwhelming" when it does everything and has everything most Android phones have with some new cool features. It doesn't need quad core,it can't make the dinner yet people whinge saying it's not enough. Not enough,so what's missing?? It might be missing one or two things but no phone is perfect. For me,Windows phone with HD screen @ 4.5" , 1 gig ram,1.5ghz,1080p video,8.7 mp camera, dual core with S4 processor along with loads of new features Windows didn't have before is plenty enough as an upgrade. Windows now has SD cards too except this one for some reason but you get 32 gigs anyway. The new look UI looks beautiful on that HD screen. Am sure the camera will be good whatever the fakes went on. I seen a You Tube video somewhere showing how good the flash was in the dark and it was excellent. I love that fun new feature where you can animate part of a photo

The only three relevant things on this phone are:
1 - Nokia (itself smells reliability)
2 - QuallComm S4
3 - Screen
The rest is just normal now.

Yes normal as in it has the features Windows has needed for ages. It doesn't need to have quad core to compete. Features that are normal now in most Android phones. You tell me what it needs then?? Something pointless

Now looking at specs of the new Motorola phones I see not much difference with those specs to the Nokia. You talk out your backside

I'm talking about hardware for a WPhone, Bonovox.
Things that realy make difference to the end user.
The features inside WP8 aren't Nokia's work. (not at all)

Who ever said it needed Quad core though??? The S4 Krait CPU in the 920 has an architecture closer to A15 making it more powerful in some aspects than the current A9 based quad cores so that is not the issue at all here, many current androids from mid to high end are using that chip to.
The issue here is that No.1 People were expecting a mind blowing camera with the sort of sampling tech we saw in the 808PV, so we expected something like a 30MP Camera that samples images down to 8MP to give them great detail, like in the 808, what we got was a good camera that isn't a great deal better than GS3 and iPhone4S, and is NOWHERE NEAR as good as the 808's camera.
No.2 This phone is incredibly important to nokia, and the WP eco system, its much like how the Galaxy S and Nexus phones are important for Android, and needs to be not just the same as the competitors but far ahead of them, but its not. That's what makes it underwhelming.
