As someone that actually own's a Lumia 930, I can say the battery life gets much better once the phone has gone through a couple of charge / discharge cycles.

When I first got the phone yes the battery did discharge pretty quickly BUT once the phone has settled down & also gone through a couple of charge / discharge cycles it makes a huge difference.

Today i've used 22% of my battery in 10 hours at work:

Several phone calls, sending texts, browsing online - the battery really isn't as bad as the review makes out.

Thank you for that. It would have been nice to have a larger battery but as long as the battery improves in time than thats good. How do you find the phone otherwise?

Im finding the phone lightning fast at doing anything I ask of it, its a delight to use.

Im getting used to Windows phone operating system, its really simple once you have got used to & where everything is after a few days.

A couple of people have commented, one was really impressed with the screen while another commented how fast the phone handled searching for something in a 800+ page PDF service manual.

Thank you, this is the impression i get from my Lumia 1520 also but i was curious how is the Lumia 930. How is thw wifi reception and network signal on it? Any issues?

I like wp 8.1 very much however there are apps that are still missing which iaa shame. That's not to say that things have not improved though it is just that the app store is not yet on par with android and ios

No issues so far with either wi fi or network signal.

True, there isn't as many app's as Apple or Android but it's improving.

Things will be better soon once we get Cortana - should be very soon.
