The XZ Premium whitepaper listed LTE networks
support only Category 11 which translate to 600Mbps
while slide in press conference demo show 1Gbps speed (Category 16)
Hopefully just typo
Sometimes they just copy an old WP and just do some changes.. a lot of times this happens specially with the first version of the WP.

If it had rounded edges & 6GB of RAM this would have been perfect. Nevertheless this is great..hoping to see SONY turn around things this year. They better market the crap out of the slo-mo capture.

If it had rounded edges it wouldn't be a Sony. It would look like everything else out there. I personally like the squared edges.. it makes it a Sony. yes, it makes the bezels look bigger, but I personally never had an issue with them.
6GB would have been nice but it's not necessary at this point.
The slo-mo capture is amazing. That and the bigger pixel size and predictive capture are great too.
Camera, SD835, and 4K HDR screen are the reasons i want to upgrade from my XZ.
I am curious how well the battery will last given the new SOC and a 4K HDR screen. I Look forward to the battery tests!

Is this like the Z5 Premium where only a few supported apps could use the 4K resolution or is it 4k completely?
I rather have it like the previous Premium but with more supported apps. Who wants to play stuttering games at 4K anyway?
As for the design itself, which I find more redefined over the XZ. However, I don't like the big top and bottom bezels. It doesn't have to be like the other phones but just slightly smaller than it is right now would have been great.
One last thing I would want is Sony to provide high-quality headphones to further justify the premium name and premium price tag we can expect from this.
For me this is a day 1 purchase.

The 4K screen with HDR is a great combo but my favourite feature is definitely the Motion Eye; no other phone comes close, for now.
As for the bezels, I'd prefer to have twin front facing speakers to complement that gorgeous screen. What's the point of having decent speakers at all if they're facing the wrong way.

@nikola1970
you are wrong mate.As I said only heavy games and intense graphic apps(do we really have that many graphic intensive apps??))
(( will render your whole interface in 2160 x 3840 — no shenanigans here))
((f you want to enjoy Android 7 Nougat in full 4K, however reasonable that is when we are talking about a 5.5-inch screen, the newer Premium is the way to go. ))
((will be pushing out 4K imagery at all times))
