Wap 2 has much better picture capability and animation. Color wap is much more fun than old wap 1. As for GPRS, I' m not as impressed. I mostly use CSD in off peak hours. For some reason GPRS is just as slow here in NYC, USA. No advantage to using it here, unless using it to connect a laptop to the web, which is still quite expensive here. GPRS better deal in peak hours because u pay for data not time. This message was posted from a T300

OK what do you all access via wap that you use up so much data? I've got a 10mb plan and I tried to use it up in a month and couldn't even use it all, more like 6mb.

I don't use it often. GPRS isn't free. And still cost too much (with Orange Hong Kong). And it is a bit slow with Orange provided service.

Well i got a vodafone sim card for $2 coz my friend had free gprs (thats the only connection i know for wap) and yeh i get it for free, i have optus and i swap simcards all the time but as soon as i cant get onto wap, the vodafone simcard is gone, but for the sake of 2 bucks its pretty good, its definatly payed it self of cinsidering optus charges quite a bit for wap.

I got a question.... for the SE T610, is it possible to disable xHTML and just use it for wap pages? coz i cant get into a few wapsites coz it detects it as a html browser, or is there anywhere to download a html browser for my T610 or even just a WML browser for it?
Thanks

I have a T630 and don't know any way of turning of xHTML. Don't know of any free browsers either. It might help you if you find out the exact address for the wap version of the site you want to visit.
