It is being upgraded by MOKO on the Uxbridge Road in Hayes, it is an official SE centre.
My phone was bought as a sim free handset back in Jan in Dubai but I use an orange sim card in it.
I am sure they will do orange p800s as when I had a t68 they updated it to a t68i on orange when SE said yes and CPW and orange said no!

Got mine upgraded today by Convergent Telecom near York.
They quoted 40mins but it took nearly an hour and half.
Looks good so far - I like been able to view videos & pictures widescreen.

At my service point here in Dk, we tried to do the upgrade on my P800 and another one,..didnt work,..came up with error-message....so "no go" for me
I spoke to a friend also in DK,..and his upgrade went well.
So I dont really know whats wrong ??

@jh67
sounds as the battery is the problem, the upgrade does drain the battery, so the best thing is to have a fully charged battery before having it upgraded.... I upgraded 5 P800 today, no problem with any of them...

Cytech > The battery was fully charged (100%) on both phones.
I always make sure that this is done before going for an upgrade.

I got it upgraded, and restored a backup, now the audioplayer in flip closed mode is gone.
But if I change language version on it, the audioplayer appears again.
Now, how do I get it to show on my normal language, Swedish?

I feel a lot of Envy of you guys, talking about the upgrades, blah, blah. But me, living here in this hole called Mexico, where SE apperars not to care

I feel like a little boy watching how the big boys eat candies with both hands.
