That's not the same thing.. The differnce between 24bit and 32bit isn't noticable. But there is a huge difference between 4096 colours and 65536 colours.
And it's not only the colours, but also the resolution and the screens "speed". There are no "shadows" and other STN problems visible on the T610 while this are very visible on the Nokia 4096 colour screens. I've tested both phones and I can tell you that difference is huge.

Yes, but that is kind of crippled isn't it. You'll have to have the Nokia software installed on every PC that you would like to transfer the picture to. With the T610 you just need a computer with an IR-port or bluetooth (or any other device with bluetooth/IR) and you can transfer the image.

Master of on screen quality.. you got to be kidding. My guess is that you have never seen the T610 screen. The T610's screen is far superior to the Nokia 7250 screen. As I said before the difference between 4096 colours and 65536 colours is very large. While 4096 colours might be ok for "comics" and "clipart" images it doesn't stand a chance when it comes to displaying photos.

Yea, sending pics from a 7250 to a pc requires the installation of the pc-suite. But then again, how many desktops have built in IR or BT?
Kinda the same prob.

Exactly.. almost all notebooks has IR (and some have bluetooth). Also some new motherboards for desktop PC's has built-in bluetooth. It's more likely that you'll find a computer with an IR port than a computer with the Nokia Software on it. Besides we are not just talking about computers. Look at all thoose PDA's that have IR-ports and other phones with IR-ports.
Why have Nokia crippled the phone by not letting people send images from the phone to another IR device. I mean if you have an IR-port with minimize its usefullness.

I agree, it's stupid of Nokia to have crippled IR. Especially since both IR and BT worked perfect on my old 7650, actually better than on my P800.
But still, the average user has a desktop without IR or BT, and then the odds are equal between T610 and 7250. You need SW installed on your pc to get pic transfers running.

I had always been a Nokia user until I got to use a T68i. Ever since then, I feel that SE makes phones that are far superior to Nokia but Nokia's phones are somewhat more user friendly. For example, consider the SMS function on the T68i.
However, I'm whole heartedly in favour of the T610 even with its 2mb memory. The 7250 looks like an entry level phone when compared to the T610.
