I honestly believe Orange give their staff the power to "Bend" or "Straighten" the rules according to the customer, more than other networks, because it seems with Orange you get as many different answers as people you speak to.
So the rule is, when having a dispute over something with Orange UK, keep asking different people until you get satisfaction.
The nice thing about them is that they are there for you 24hrs a day, which takes some beating.
