sow here are the cheap websites to buy new phones. 400 is nothing for a t610 in my opinion, when i know they will tryto charge like double of that if i go to a store here in US who imports phones and then sells them with our without a contract.
websites please.

Sahran can you tell me if the t610 has the same memory allocation problem as the t68i?

T610 impressions:
- SMS is FAST, easily as fast as the Nokia phones
- Pic quality is ok, and looks good as wallpaper
- Phone feels comfortable in my hand (big hands)
- Polyphonic tones are loud and clear. =)

Now to answer all your questions.
1) No download…. There is no cable in the box…and even when you connect up the cable you can only down load from the PC to the phone (Pics) you can only upload from the Phone (Pics Sounds etc) via IR or Bluetooth
2) Hissing sound is during a Call, had this before on a Siemens and was cured via software update. Note this does not come when you are using Handsfree only on the speaker
3) A picture max size i.e. 352x288 is 20.8 KB in the phone and after transfer to the PC 20.8 KB
4) The Alarms are quite….and the SMS but it depends on the mid file that you use. I will try to up the volume in the file its self which should make the whole thing louder
5) All Alarms and Ringing starts off low…does automatic stepping (up to the loudness that you have preset) then the vib kicks in …so short mid’s (ringtones) are useless…
6) The Screen is useless outside here in Dubai TOO MUCH SUN…its even a little worse that the T68i…think this has to do with the reflective nature of the plastic covering the screen …the shinny black case is also real bad for finger and cheek prints.
7) The Joystick is better but now they have reverted to SOFT keys to place and drop a call…which means whilst on the face of it appears to be the same as with the old T68i …it aint as easy to drop a call or Busy out a call
7) The reason for them selling it here is that the market here is small and if there are problems with software and hardware they can deal with the returns and a fix quicker, BEFORE it enters the larger markets where it would cause a Hugh logistical and loss of face! Also NOKIA has all their phones here 2 days after they are released and that means SE has lost market share in this emerging market and sorry but the T300 T310 T600 don’t stack up against all the latest 7x 6x 3x 5x phones (which were avail here within a week of being released) from BONKIA!
Hope I have been able to answer you questions…

@NoBackUp
Are you sure a max camera pic size of 20k actually taken 20k memory on the phone, cos on T68i, when you view on picture info , it give you the pic actual size, but if you view in memory status, then click on my pictures, select the pic, it will tell you the actual memory the phont has taken, so can you tell us if under memory status, the pic also taken as 20k phone memory?
So when you got the phone, how much free memory are available?? Are all those defaulted backgrounds and stuffs deletable?? And whould the phone gain memory after you deleted those defaulted stuffs??
So there's no more remaining talk & stanbdy time shown on status?? Also, can you check what's your software version. Thanks very much !

@ablaze: No T9 lag so far. I'm not a "machine-gun texter" like some 14-year-old girls, but I'm fast enough. No problems.

But the real question is : Have SE improved the internal antenna? Does this phone have the same pathetic reception that the T68i is known for or have they corrected the problem? I anxiously awaiting for a replacement for my t68i and am hoping that the T610 will be it...RF capability will be the deciding factor
