xenobgood: Hehe, there you see

Yes, I know SE is good at this.
But I think it's lame to release and produce phones with a defect like this, let's just hope its softwarerelated and not hardware. And second, I think it's bad of SE not to check series of phones before dispatching them to stores

@djk
Oh, T300 and T100 have low volume? I don't think so.
My t300 (Made in Malaysia) is very loud, I never turn it to the loudest level.

i had a feeling that the t610 will have defects in it's initial release. typical for SE for not detecting and fixing the problem before delivering to stores. the defect is very annoying to me.

T610 should have a beta first in the market, then finalize the realease.

there are many complains about the quality control of Sony Ericsson phones. but as someone claim that "stop complaining", i cannot say all here. just take an example, the "sleep" problem of T600 and T66 have never been fixed completely up to this moment, for more than a year (T66). Maybe you can say your T66/T600 hasn't this problem, but I'm sorry to tell you that many T66/T600 users do really have this problem. Sony Ericsson hasn't much chances to bounce back if they still always make such errors and lack of QC. People will just be scared away from SE products.
@randomix,
hi, my T300 did have low earphone volume problem. The volume is quite far lower than my T68i. My friends' T300 have the same problem. Yet, all of our T300 are the first batch, so I don't know if the problem has been fixed.

I can verify the hiss problem. It exists in the 2 phones I have taken out of their boxes.
My guess is that the sound is caused by the display. When it's on during a call it interferes with the speaker. The display is quite close to the speaker so this might be the thing.
I hope they will come up with a solution.
This, my friends is the reason why new phones aren't released globally. SE naturally starts in Sweden (and Iceland... we got some phones aimed for Sweden). To keep the baby diseases in one area where it's pretty easy to get them fixed.
