Hey I have also seen similar postings by entirely 3 or 4 entirely different people on ebay about 6,7 weeks ago.All of them had perfect feedbacks but I felt something fishy and decided not to buy. One of them I noticed had no feed back after 1991 and he had altogether 500 odd positive feedbacks. So I think these guys somehow hack accounts of people who no longer use the account and starts selling from that account.

I've been offered loads of P800's from people in Italy, Romania, Bulgaria etc, all wanting money through Western Union. These people are stealing respected Ebayer's accounts, and scamming people.

Anish
an extract from a post about eBay I made a few weeks ago to back-up your theory about hacked accounts
"I have found that eBay traders user identifiers and passwords have been stolen. I was sent a bogus email from
support@ebay.com that asked me to re-register (ebay confirmed it was a scam). I suspect many of the P800 phone traders are using stolen identities.."
You have been warned!

A very nice way to confirm a sellers position is to ask for a landline number to ring them on, (its fairly general requirement for online sellers to be using a landline or have access to one) if they are legit they wont mind, the code should match the country they say they are in & a landline is easy to trace to a person & address, a cheat wont agree to giving you a landline number & wont often even know any codes for the country he says he is bassed in.
Remember, thieves love using things like P800's as bait because it's often bought by young people who don't realise yet that ALL products have a TRADE price & a RETAIL price. to sell a P800 for £205 online it would mean getting it for less than £200 from SE & SE dont sell P800's that cheap to ANYONE.
