P800 was *and still is* advertised in UAE in newspapers and megaboards on highways. It sells like hotcakes - 5 of my best friends beside me have bought it.
It's incredible...for such a costly gadget.
I also noticed the diversification of brands in hands on the streets....Nokia is still the most common phone...but far less present than last year.
SE, Siemens and Samsung have had a major boost this year.
It's an exciting year.

Confirming Billboard ad for P800 in Arland airport, Stockholm.
This is sound market strategy, I think. Instead of expensive and short-lived tv-commercials, they go for billboards at international airports (where a lot of businesspeople hang around and are really bored, until they see the have-it-all-device that they must buy for the next trip)
SE are also arranging a lot of competitions, giving away T310, T610 and P800 as top prizes. This gets people's attention as well as marketing the product as product info is always stated in the competition broschures.

True!
Also saw adverts for P800 at Airports in Germany, Denmark and Finland last week.
Also in Finland lots of advertisements on busses and public places for T310.
Actually you dont do SE's marketing offices justice. Only in Germany they invest huge amounts of money into getting the brand and the products into the minds of dealers and people.
The thing is, these days we are overwhelmed by ads and commercials in our everyday live that it became pretty hard to build up a new brand.
Not to speak of their efforts in eg. advertising film campaigns (Tomb Raider, James Bond, Charlies Angels).

P800 was advertised in the UK edition of Maxim magazine, it was one of them ads that's pretending to be a proper preview by the magazine, but is in fact just an advert
