Ok ok ok, now this I think is BS, 13 seconds or 15 seconds trick...
I first wrote that I gained memory from 1700 to 2300 .. Well .. I dont think so anymore...

After trying to get more memory than 2300, I found out that everytime I do the trick. .let it be 10 sec or 17 seconds or 13 or 15. .I get exactly the same amount of memory and same objects are still in the memory..

So I at last did a 100% masterreset.. and waited till it was finished!
And my suspicion was correct. .I had the same amount of memory and same objects as with the trick!

So before when I had total of ~1700kb it must have been other stuff taking memory.. somestuff we can't see, or touch if we don't do a master reset.. stuff that dont show in the mem status, it might be cache or tempfiles.. I dont know.. I dont even know if this answer is right..
But I think after I use the phone now as long as I did since I got it, once more I will get ~1700kb in total memory..

My suspicion is that this trick does a cache/temp cleaning.. and nothing else..

Am I wrong!? Or did the trick not work for me at all? Cause I don't see the difference in Master reset 100% or with the 13/15 sec trick.. I get exactly 2319kb in both cases...

has anybody ever thought, that this sort of reset could delet apps that make sure your phone works better? longer battery, better sound, something for the hissing? don't forget that

Sorry, I do not agree with whoever said you can delete stuff normally on the T610. I have teo crappy 'rose' and 'flower' images that I'm never gonan use, plus am O2 screensaver that is predefined too. And when you try to delete them 'normally' it says "predifined item cannot be deleted".

So no, it is not possible. Don't believe everything you read online!

flomp, I don't know about the O2 screen saver you speak of as mine is unbranded but the other pics takes very few bytes. So although you cannot delete those you can delete everything else freeing up 99% of the memory.

I dont know if this confirms my latest statement..
But having used the phone now for already 1 day, and I lost o couple of kb.. From 2319 now I have 2317.. And I have not sent any images nor ringingtone.. I have not wapped nor mms... I don't even have the grps settings made.. I have absolutley stored nothing.. I just used the phone for calling a coubple of calls. .nothing else! So how do we explain this..

phone saves called numbers in "recent calls" and also the length of calls..

that would explain those 2 kb..

my 2 cents:
the 13.sek trick does exactly the same on the t610 like the simple master reset.. i tried it..

Well actually no.. it doesn't.. I erased the phonecall lists.. and I am 100% sure that I haven't done anything else with it..

And those kb became 3kb..

But now I also have uploade one of my themes.. and I noticed that when choosing a theme that is in another size than the one its on changes the amount of free kb..

I had classic theme before and when I swithced to my theme that is 10 kb smaller I gained 10kb of free memory... so now we know that when themes are loaded and it creates the raw files for the images inside the theme it puts those images in the memory and doesn't tell us in the memory status..

and except for adding this theme and took 7 pictures with the camera.. I have now in total ~1850 kb of total memory.. And my call list became much larger now. .and cleaned it.. and even so.. I don't think call list can be over 300kb hehe..

So this 13/15 sex trick is fake. .and doesn't work.. just do usual master reset, you get the same effect!

And the memory status doesn't show everything... so it wont say much by calculating the sum...

actually when you clear most of the item in your "my picture" menu
it will be 2205kb or more so what is the meaning of risking the 13-15sec trick when you only get nothing more.
