I vote for a horizontal belt pouch. Great protection that doesn't get in the way when I sit down. And I use the phone, I get to touch the original surface and keys, without those annoying cheap plastic. I also dislike zipper covers as those hard zippers would invariably rub and mark the phone casing.

I've gone for a skin from MobileFun (UK) which is good, but a little steep at £6..
And I've also got a SE ICT-14 Phone Holster - which is really nice, but doesn't allow any connections on the bottom when used I was hoping to use the radio simulatiously...
Use both, one to hold the phone and one incase I drop it.

maybe, you inserted the phone the wrong way.
when the ICT-14 is clipped to your belt, the phone should be facing your belt. the top part of the phone should be facing forward.

I don't use pounchs og cases, look those things will be outdated in 2-3 years, they do last that long without "protection"

yes. that's the same case that i have. If you look at the elastic material, it is smaller on one end which allows you to plug in the headset.
