A simple program allowing to calculate true wind speed and direction from relative (apparent) and ships speed and course. Good for mariners or sailors as myself. I think that one could be even done in Java.

I agree with ahtixxxx stuff like navigation or maybe even GPS or something would be cool. The city maps are great, but we cant be stuck in the cities forever ... A shockproof,waterproof P800 would be great!

just so u guys know, i am currently working on a profile application, which is very similar to the nokias...

it is in the same menu as the PHONE ON,OFF/FLIGHT MODE menu...
it will come with colour schemes/themes....

what do you guys think?????

There is an opportunity for someone to write another handy app, which tells you battery usage time between charges, typical consumption etc! My old Psion 2mx did that, and it was a handy wee bleeder of an app!

Hi, What a wonderful person you are - having read this thread you are going to sort all the niggles out. I would like ..... please ......
1. A fix for the lousy camera
2. Option to have large font as default when writing sms.
3. SMS Reports on as default.
4. The ability to customise Contacts so you can have more than one person per entry under one name [like Nokia 3650]
and PROFILES
5. Button or easy hit icon to lock the phone when making a call. When someone answers you can't always say "Hang on a mo while I lock my phone". Often I will alter my calendar with my ear when on a call.
I know - I'll go get a job in a circus !!!

A very easy to code program that has been lacking:

A midi keyboard/pitchpipe. There are probably opensource ones already made that just need recompiling.

Its the sort of program that's widespread throghout the palm pilots of music students and completely nonexistent on the P800

I know that you are working in the theme program, but just in case SE release a new Camera API.

I think they solve some problems with the battery usage, and the video support (I am not sure yet). Now what is necessary is some good soul to write a good app that use the new features.
