This is very good news over at Mobile Burn:

"Finally, it looks like Nokia has implemented some changes to it's Series 40 user-interface. We have mentioned in our previous reviews that a grid-view for the main menu is preferable to having a scrolling menu for many people, since it allows for quicker navigation. We are happy to report that Nokia has taken this step."

This is what bothered me the most about all Nokia phones!!! They had the same old irritating menustructure since almost their very first phone. But still, the screen is toooooooo small!!!

But the 128x128 screen is still pretty small. At least TFT is far better than the fuzzy screens on the 6100, 7210, 7250...

Hopefully Nokia have fixed the display issues with the Power and Reception bars... you just can't see them against a similar colour background!

Also, seeing as it's a Series 40 phone, it's most likely to have any direct file sharing disabled (Although it's the first series 40 with Bluetooth AFAIK).

I know their Series 60 phones allow sending pics and sounds between phones, so there may be hope...

but I refuse to buy phones that don't allow sharing. It's just a cheap way to get people sending MMS files. At 40p a shot, I'm not doing that!

I love the T610 as I can sit it by my PC, and immediately send it files through infrared - no software needed!

At first i was blown away by 6230 but now im not so sure. Why? Lets forget design. Phone is not stabil. Series 40. I try 6610 ir whit pc no connection none. Bt i guess its same. The phone is se wannabe. The screen is small and mmc,mp3, vga whit recording is nothing new. This phone is old. The main new things is resolution screen, more colours and 1m camera. se UI is better than any phone. And i think the next se bt is goimg to be long range maybe even some mini symbian os This message was posted from a T610

tyou name me 1 phone (NOT PDA) that has a slot for MMC.
Also... yeah Z1010 will have long range ... forget mini symbian.

VGA with recording may not be new, but again... name ONE phone that has it!

This Nokia is a big big step forward, and if they hurry the release they before competition will have something similar.... this might well be Nokia's biggest hit.

Vlammetje i didnt say that se has that phone but look siemens sl45 it has mmc and mp3 and it is small. vga camera, samsung e700 have it. streaming video well motorola v600 have it. recording st 55 have it and many other phones have it. series 40 that i wrote that it is not stabil. i ment that UI suchs. you dont know where things are. and nokia crach much more than SE phones. IR doesnt work. people say that BT is something new in series 40. look at se system software is it call something like series 40 and is it with limitations. no i dont think so.
and if someone say that series 40 is whit no limitations than i am stupid. now that was not stabil as i said.
