Ermm two forms of ID to be faxed? Is that a necessary step as they never asked me for that when I made the order over the internet or called to add another phone to the the talk plan. They did ask enough questions to do a credit check on me will that do instead.
On the adding another phone to the talk plan here's an idea for those of you with gfs/bfs in need of an xmas pressie. I ordered P900 @£69.99 on talk400 (or whatever its called) and have bought a Motorola v660 for the gf (60 quid but other phones for free) and put in on talkshare for another 14.50 a month. I'm never going to use 400mins a month or 2000texts in 6 months but between us we've got a fair chance and I now have a very happy gf (until she finds out it'll be a month b4 her phone turns up). All for 65 quid a month which I'm spending at the moment with vodafone anyway.
@Defusian
my contract law isn't a 100% but I'm sure that clicking on something which has the proviso that you accept the terms and conditions is as binding as signing a paper as it shows intent to enter and fulfil a contract. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong

Normally the 2 forms of id thingy are requested when you sign the contract - as you ordered from the web (as i did) i would think they send the phone with the contract to sign with the phone.
They asked normal credit check questions to me as welll, but no proof of ID was asked for - it might be something to do with the time at your address or something.
As for the walking out the door and ending the contract immediatley, then you will be asked to return the phone and pay for the calls you had made as Orange run a 14 day cooling off period - the phone won't be yours!

I have owned my house for 6 years and been at my current job for 7 years... odd.
*EDIT* - (because the forum won't let me reply): Also, my order wasn't updated on the website today, so looks like I am not getting it tomorrow
