Right, just wondering what colour you think I should paint my phone, am going to halfords to get some paints in about 20 minutes.

I want to spray my buttons and blue parts jet black, but want a metallic finish, what do you think?

Hopefully using mixin's page it should all go well, and I'll ask sum1 in halfords about the buttons but I'm not sure if they'll know.

Oh and mixin, what paint did you use? was it just car paint? and did u use the same paint for the stylus?

Thanks alot...

i would go for a nice real silver on the silver parts (matt) (as oppose to the crapy beige silver!)

then a nice black (matt) on the black bits i just hate glossy paint on phones!

use car paint but first use a primer to let the paint adhere better then do loads of light coats! on the case. Then finnish with a clear (matt) top coat.

Ok, well I got a metallic black... It looks like it will work well, if not then oh well, will have to get another case. am currently just priming it. Followed the instructions on mixin's page and everything is going well.

Only problem is that the case i bouth didn't come with a flip removed cover, and so i might have to chance using the real one...

So does anyone have an idea of how to paint the buttons? how about nail varnish and then lacquer it?! Not really sure...

Oh and I also sprayed over the IR port! lol, but mixin seems to think it still works so I wont bother rectifying it....

About respraying the silver bits, that seems alot harder to me and invlolves alot of masking, so i think i'll just have to leave it as it is...
