i gotta get in on this conversation too...heheheh!
i'm in the boston area using voicestream and everything has been good so far. i use my t39 and t68i all the time and i don't have any problems with the network. the only place that doesn't get good reception is some areas of wellesley college.

Well, I just joined the discussion group after reading it for a few days and I need to get my posts in. I'm in Chicago with AT&T and so far things are going well. The reception is about the same as AT&T's older service (I forget what it is called). As far as the phone goes I'm now officially the "Gadget Geek" of the office with my T68, my Palm 505 and Palm keyboard out on my desk.

Voicestream reception isn't too good, it's been pissing me off lately now that I'm not at school at Tech which is downtown. Hi Nick. Im from Hawaii. Voicestream kicks ass in Hawaii! Other providers are at&t, vorizon, sprint pcs, nextel, Hawaiian wireless. I use to work for both at&t when it was called Honolulu cellular, and voicestream.

I just came back from San Francisco (I took a cold with me).
The provider I got in S.F. was Cingular, it worked fine, full reception all the time, even on Alcatraz

if you want to send text to philippines (im sure you will be heh heh)... i think cingular is the only one that will work... cingular has very bad reception though, that's the only thing i hate. but i have free text and unlimited nights and weekends and i need that badly, so that's the only reason why im with cingular.
